iPods as Learning Tools
K. Donovan 2010-01-29

iPod systems have been around long enough that most teens and pre-teens know the product and use it for music to take with them wherever they go. I was excited to see some of the more recent ways in which iPod can be used for in a learning environment.
Apple is rejuvenating a name for itself in the techno world we live in, with the expansion of uses and apps that are available on the iPod system. The Online Education Database website has a list of 100 uses for the iPod directly related to learning that includes links to podcasts, tutorials and applications for the classroom.
Whether you already use, or are considering the use of an iPod as part of your curriculum the information available at the Online Education Database site will be a worthwhile site to bookmark.
